- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL

We also use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations on cookies and analysis services in sections 6 and 7 of this privacy policy.
The website is hosted in a professional German data center with whose operator a contract data processing agreement exists.
b) when using a contact form or contact by e-mail
If you send us inquiries via the contact form or e-mail, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on to third parties.
The data entered in the contact form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), which you give by submitting it. You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after a reasonable period of time after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
The data will be deleted no later than 12 months after your inquiry has been fully processed, provided that no statutory retention periods preclude this.

If you submit an online application to us, we will store and process the application documents you submit (e.g. letter of application, CV, references, certificates, etc.) for the purpose of carrying out the application process. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
We ensure that your personal application data is only passed on to the persons responsible for filling the specific position. Your personal application data will not be passed on to third parties. If you cannot be considered in the application process, your application data will be automatically deleted six months after completion of the application process, unless a legal provision precludes deletion, further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence or you have expressly consented to longer storage.
5. Forwarding of data
We use selected external service providers to provide support and administrative tasks for our website. These service providers may occasionally have access to your personal data. The service providers process your data exclusively on behalf of and in accordance with the instructions of Neher and in compliance with these data protection provisions and the applicable laws.

- The disclosure is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data; the legal basis for processing in these cases is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

- The transfer is legally permissible and is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.
6. cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and associated with the browser you are using, and through which certain information is transmitted to us. However, this does not mean that we thereby obtain direct knowledge of your identity.
We use two types of cookies on our website. Necessary cookies for the operation and security of the website are set without consent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / § 25(2)(2) TTDSG. Optional cookies are used only with your express consent for analysis, marketing, and external media. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / § 25(1) TTDSG.
The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make the use of our website more convenient for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted when you leave our site.
In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your device for a specific, predetermined period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, the system automatically recognizes that you have already visited us.
Furthermore, we also use cookies to collect statistical data on the use of our website and to evaluate this data for the purpose of optimizing our offerings for you. These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already visited our site when you return. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.
The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Section 25(1) of the German Telemedia Act (TTDSG) in conjunction with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (consent).
You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may not be able to use all features of this website if you refuse cookies.
Withdrawal: You can change your consent at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” button on any page; the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point remains unaffected.
7. analysis tools, advertising and plugins
a) Google Analytics
This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies.” These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. User data is automatically deleted by Google after 14 months.
The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Data transfers to the United States take place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and, in addition, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses concluded with Google (Article 46(2)(c) of the GDPR).
We have enabled the IP anonymization feature on this website. This means that Google will truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
We have entered into a contract with Google for commissioned data processing and fully comply with the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the collection of your data during future visits to this website (this opt-out cookie works only in the browser you are currently using and only for this domain; if you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again): Disable Google Analytics.
For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
b) Google Ads and Google conversion tracking
We use Google Ads to draw attention to our offerings on external websites through advertising (so-called Google Ads) and to measure their effectiveness. Our goal is to show you ads that are relevant to your interests, make our website more engaging for you, and ensure a fair calculation of advertising costs.
When you click on a Google ad, Google stores a cookie on your device, provided you have previously given your consent via our consent banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TTDSG). This cookie contains a unique ID and expires after 30 days. It is used to track whether you were redirected to our website after clicking on an ad and performed certain actions there (so-called “conversion”).
We ourselves receive only statistical reports from Google that do not allow for the identification of individual persons. To the extent that we generate such anonymized reports without the use of cookies, this is based on our legitimate interest in measuring the success of advertising campaigns (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data transfers to Google servers in the U.S. are protected under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Adequacy Decision of the European Commission dated July 10, 2023). Additionally, we have entered into the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with Google in accordance with Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
You can prevent the conversion cookie from being stored in several ways: a) by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; in particular, blocking third-party cookies will prevent you from receiving ads from third-party providers; b) by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”, www.google.de/settings/ads, although this setting will be deleted when you clear your cookies; c) by disabling interest-based ads from providers participating in the “About Ads” self-regulatory campaign via the link www.aboutads.info/choices, although this setting will be deleted when you clear your cookies; d) by permanently disabling this feature in your Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome browsers via the link www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that in this case, you may not be able to fully utilize all features of this service.
Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy and services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at www.networkadvertising.org.
c) YouTube with extended data protection
Our website uses plugins from the YouTube website. YouTube is a service provided by Google LLC, USA.
We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. For example, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you watch a video.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, YouTube can store various cookies on your end device after starting a video. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to record video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent fraud attempts. The cookies remain on your end device until you delete them.
If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no influence.
YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
d) Vimeo
This page uses plugins from the Vimeo website. The operator of these pages is Vimeo, Inc, 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA.
We have integrated Vimeo videos that are stored on www.vimeo.com and can be played directly from our website. For data protection reasons, Vimeo content is initially blocked and only loaded after your active consent (either via our cookie box in the “External media” category or by consenting to the respective video placeholder). Only then will a connection to the Vimeo servers be established and personal data (e.g. IP address, page accessed, device/browser data) can be transmitted. If you are logged in to Vimeo, an assignment to your user account can take place.
Vimeo may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. local storage, pixels) for the purposes of video playback, statistics, improving user-friendliness and preventing misuse. Details on the technologies used and storage periods can be found in Vimeo’s cookie policy.
Further information on data protection at Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/privacy and on cookie use: https://vimeo.com/cookie_policy.
e) Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. These web fonts are stored locally on the Neher.de server. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at
https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
8. data security
In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (TLS procedure). We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. However, we cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted by you as a user. Any data transmission by the user is therefore at the user’s own risk.
9. amendment of this privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. You can view the current version at any time on the website at www.neher.de/datenschutz.
